Nola McConnan makes pictures
It all started with an idea for depicting Muskoka’s shores. An ABC. hmmm what medium? Drawing? Watercolour? hmmm colour, that’s more expensive to print. So, it’s Black and White.
I’d worked with silkscreen print for many years. Do it as a screen or plate? I’ve always challenged myself in mediums and methods. Do Lino block plates that illustrate 26 alliterative sentences A to Z to challenge children of all ages.
